About Golden Valley and the Tri-State area.

Golden Valley, Arizona lies between the Cerbat and Black Mountains.  It is located approximately 100 miles south of Las Vegas, Nevada.  Kingman, it's neighboring town, is approximately 15 miles east and is the county seat of Mohave County.  Laughlin, Nevada, one of Nevada's major tourist towns, is just west of the valley, along the Colorado river.

The summers range in temperature between 90 and 105 degrees, while the winters are pleasant, averaging between 40 and 70 degrees.  The elevation is approximately 2700 feet above sea level.

The population of Golden Valley is approximately 14,000 and growing fast.  There are over 200 small businesses, two elementary schools, two churches and a brand new medical center.
